Complying Development
Strata Subdivison
When: The strata subdivision of a completed development that is not in excess of 10 years old that meets the specification of what is and what is not complying development, as outlined below:
- The completed development, the subject of the strata subdivision, has been constructed in accordance with the provisions of the BCA and the development consent relating to the building
- All buildings have been approved by Council
- A certificate of occupation has been issued with respect to all development on the land
- The development, the subject of the strata subdivision, was completed after 1994
- The subdivision layout shall not contravene the development consent for the completed development
- The requirements of all service authorities in respect of the subdivision of the development shall be satisfied
- Must comply with all requirements of the Strata Titles Act
